Description

Scarth v2.0 is a scorched earth game for the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition, ported from my 2006 game, Scarth 1.0. Your tank and a calculator-controlled tank battle to the death in a colorful randomly-generated landscape, taking turns firing missiles at one another. For each shot, you can set the power and angle that you
shoot at, but as you get damaged, your range decreases. This is the first known released interactive TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition TI-BASIC game using homescreen graphics.

First, this is made by KermMartian, what do you expect but another great game? **PROS: *3 great different terrain styles *More than decent performance considering this is made in Basic *Intelligent AI *Nice scoring system *easy to understand controls. **CONS: *personally, I think that the minimum distance the two tanks can be apart is far too small. Sometimes I've been able to get an easy direct shot on the enemy. *No multiplayer, you can only battle the AI right now. *No power-ups you are stuck with one type of shot (not that big of a deal to me though) **CONCLUSION: Although I've listed a fair few cons, I don't think this is a bad game. It's not buggy at all and is actually very fun! [9/10] Would accidently kill my own tank again.

A lovely rendition of the classic game Scorched Earth! You have 3 choices in landscape type, and it randomizes it fairly well. You also get random colors for your 'earth' which is a nice touch. As per the old games, you get a tank, your enemy has a tank, and you have to choose power and angles to try to damage and destroy the enemy. As is, this is a great time waster. Things that could make it more amazing would be other forms of weapons and maybe shields of some kind to lessen damage. Amazing game! 10/10
